Accessible content
Screen-Reader: By manually setting HTML tags of the images, the page is fully readable by a screen reader and thus accessible to all visually impaired people.
Accessibility Panel: The accessibility panel at the bottom of the website allows visually impaired visitors to the website to view the website in different variations (black and white or contrast) in addition to the ability to zoom in.
Sign language-video:On the home page there is a Youtube video in which the disease CED and the DCCV are briefly explained in sign language. This offers non-hearing and hard-of-hearing people an alternative way to learn more about the disease and DCCV. You can find the video here.
Podcast transcriptions: An audio transcription is created for each podcast episode. You can find them here.
Easy language brochure: A brochure in easy language is placed on the home page. You can find this brochure here.
Non-accessible content
PDF files: All PDF files available for download on the website are not accessible.
Subtitles of videos: For technical reasons, it is not possible to activate subtitles for videos, such as the video of the intestinal model on the home page. There is also no audio description.
Keyboard operability: Keyboard operability is not always given. Furthermore, the order of keyboard operation, as well as the keyboard focus, is not always clear.
